Inmate Got A Golf Outing

A pro golfer turned convicted jewel theft was moved out of men's central jail and allowed to do his time on the sunny tourist isle of Catalina.  While a trusty there, a sheriff captain wanting to improve his golf game, escorted the golf pro to the golf course and received a few golf pointers.  This free golf lesson is proving to be costly to the captain who is under investigation for an inappropriate relationship with an inmate.  Sheriff's officials are strictly forbidden from fraternizing with inmates.  Excursions off site are rarely granted and require special security clearance when they are.  According to the sheriff's spokesperson, permission would never have been granted to take a trusty out and having them go play golf.

  1. This is the main reason why many officers or Sheriffs are getting laid off. An intimate relationship between inmates and officer may result to this kind of incident. This usually happens if an inmate is an elite individual. Sometimes, an officer/sheriff turns out to be pulling an electric golf trolley for an inmate. That's a sad reality.
